It is based on how well the plugs reduce continuous noise, so they may not suit intermittent or impulsive noise where high attenuation is needed, or high noise dominated by low frequencies. EP22 is tested to EN 352-2:2020 and is CE certified as Category III PPE.

How to fit them. Hold the stem firmly behind the largest flange. Reach over your head with the other hand and pull the top of your ear to open the ear canal, then push the smallest flange in with a slight twist. Insert them as deeply as possible for the best noise reduction, and put them in before you enter the noisy area.

Taking them out. Leave the noisy area first, then twist each plug to break the seal and pull it out slowly. Pulling them out quickly may damage the ear drum. Keep the plugs away from small children, as they are a choking hazard.

Colours and sizes. EP22 comes in Orange, one size, sold as 1 pair.
