The Portwest EV4 EV402 Hi-Vis Expedition Trouser is made for cold, wet work where you need to be seen. It is waterproof to EN 343 Class 4:1 X, certified to EN 342 for protection against cold up to -50°C, and meets EN ISO 20471 Class 2 for high visibility. Stretch fabric and built in articulation let you move freely. They suit anyone working outdoors in freezing, wet conditions.
Key features
- Hi-vis Class 2: certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2, with heat applied segmented reflective tape. The orange version also meets RIS 3279 TOM Issue 2.
- Waterproof: EN 343 Class 4:1 X with 20,000 mm water penetration resistance, taped seams and waterproof zips.
- Cold protection: certified to EN 342 up to -50°C, with an Insulatex Pro lining that adds warmth without unnecessary weight.
- Stretch fabric: Portwest Extreme Waterproof, 100% polyester stretch 150D with a PU membrane at 160g, plus a stretch crotch gusset that reduces stress on the seams.
- Easy over boots: zipped ankles make them easy to fit over work boots, and elasticated gussets ease foot entry.
Built for harsh conditions. CorePro Armour reinforcement and abrasion resistance at the knees help them stand up to hard wear. An extremely water resistant, eco-conscious finish makes water bead away from the surface, and an inner snow gusset sits at the hem.
Ventilation when you need it. Zipped breathability panels at the knees, laser cut holes and mesh ventilation let heat out and help wick moisture away from the skin when you are working hard.
Storage and fit. Six pockets include two zipped side pockets, a zipped thigh pocket, a patched thigh pocket and two back pockets, one with a zip. A hammer loop and D-ring carry tools and keys. Hook and loop waist tabs let you adjust the fit, webbing belt loops add durability, and easy grip pullers are fitted to every zip.
Part of EV4. EV402 belongs to Portwest's EV4 collection of technical workwear. Choose Orange/Black or Yellow/Black, in sizes S to XXXL.
