The Portwest FT05 Steel Leather Ankle Boot is a waterproof, insulated S7 safety boot made for work in cold conditions. Dual membranes keep feet warm and dry, and a steel toecap and pierce resistant steel midsole protect them. It suits work in the cold where you need grip on uneven ground and on ladders.

Made for hard wear. The upper is buffalo crazy horse leather, with materials chosen for high abrasion areas. A TPU stitched toe bump and protective scuff cap guard the front, and a TPU kick plate insert sits in the heel. The dual density EVA and rubber sole is heat resistant to 300°C and fuel and oil resistant.
Easy on and off. A back pull-tab helps you get the boot on and the heel kick makes it quick to take off. The angled top line gives a better fit and lets the leg flex, the bellows tongue helps keep water out, and the boot is anti-static.
What S7 means. Under EN ISO 20345:2022, S7 footwear meets the S3 requirements plus water penetration and water absorption. Plain S7, without an L or S, means a metal insert (type P).
Colours and sizes. FT05 comes in Black and Brown, both in UK sizes 6 to 13 (EU 39 to 48), including UK 6.5 and 10.5.

Clean regularly with a good proprietary cleaning product, never a caustic one. Let wet boots dry naturally somewhere cool and dry; do not force dry. Check the stitching, tread and sole bond before use, and replace the boots if they are damaged or the toe has taken a heavy impact.
