The Portwest A373 GP Grip 18 Latex Sandy Glove is a lightweight work glove for precision handling in dry, wet or oily conditions. The 18 gauge liner gives comfort, freedom of movement and a good feel for what you are holding, and the sandy latex coating grips in water, grease or oil. It is made for jobs that need a sure grip, and it is comfortable enough to wear all day.
Key features
- Sandy latex grip: the sandy finish grips in water, grease or oil, and natural rubber latex gives elasticity and comfort.
- Thin 18 gauge liner: comfort, freedom of movement and tactile ability, on a hand mould that fits the fingers more closely.
- Less hand fatigue: the ergonomic design reduces hand fatigue when you wear them for long periods.
- Fresher for longer: a breathable, high-wicking liner manages moisture, and a Texpel Micro odour-control finish keeps the gloves fresher.
- Touchscreen compatible: use most mobile touchscreen devices without taking the gloves off.
What 2121X means. EN 388 rates the palm of the glove on abrasion (2 out of 4), coupe blade cut (1 out of 5), tear (2 out of 4) and puncture (1 out of 4). The X for straight blade cut means the glove is not designed for the use covered by that test. A373 is also rated EN 407 X1XXXX: contact heat level 1, for a maximum use up to 100°C. It is rated Dexterity 5 under EN ISO 21420.
Kind to skin. A373 is dermatologically tested and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 approved. It is phthalate free and DMF free, and the low linting construction keeps contamination to a minimum. It is CE certified and CE foodsafe. The coating is foam latex, a natural rubber. Latex can cause allergies in sensitised people, so get medical advice straight away if a reaction occurs.
Know the limits. No glove gives full protection. These gloves give limited protection against burns from hot surfaces and should not touch a naked flame. They will not prevent crushing injuries. With tear resistance at level 2, they are not recommended where there is a risk of entanglement near moving machinery.
Colours and sizes. A373 comes in Black, in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL.
