The Portwest CT46 CT Impact D18 Nitrile Sandy Glove is a cut resistant work glove with low-energy impact protection and a fine 18 gauge liner. It has a Level D cut resistance rating, and the nitrile foam coating grips in wet and dry conditions. It is made for jobs where you need protection without losing dexterity.

Key features

  • Level D cut: rated 3X42DP to EN 388, where D is the straight blade cut grade on a scale of A to F.
  • Low-energy impact protection: made for low-energy impact situations, shown by the P in the EN 388 marking. It covers the back of the hand but not the fingers.
  • Grip in wet or dry: the nitrile foam coating grips in wet and dry conditions.
  • Thin 18 gauge liner: comfort, freedom of movement and tactile ability, rated Dexterity 5 under EN ISO 21420.
  • Touchscreen compatible: use most mobile touchscreen devices without taking the gloves off.

Gentle on skin. CT46 is made without glass and steel fibres to reduce skin irritation. It is also OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 approved.

Silicone free. Silicone causes problems in some work, such as manufacturing, paint applications, electronics and glass handling. CT46 is silicone free, so it suits those jobs.

Washable up to 10 times. CT46 keeps its cut performance level for up to 10 washes. Wash at 40°C with a non-biological detergent, reshape after washing and do not tumble dry.

The ratings. CT46 is certified to EN ISO 21420: 2020 Dexterity 5, EN 388: 2016 + A1: 2018 3X42DP and EN 407: 2020 X1XXXX. It is CE certified and UKCA marked.
