The Portwest EP22 Easy Fit TPR Corded Ear Plugs are reusable double flange plugs on a cord, rated SNR 28 dB. Soft TPR makes them easy to put in and take out, and comfortable for long periods of wear. The cord keeps the pair together when you take them out, and each pair comes in its own storage container.

What SNR 28 dB means. SNR is the Single Number Rating. It is based on how well the plugs reduce continuous noise, so they may not suit intermittent or impulsive noise where high attenuation is needed, or high noise dominated by low frequencies. EP22 is tested to EN 352-2:2020 and is CE certified as Category III PPE.
How to fit them. Hold the stem firmly behind the largest flange. Reach over your head with the other hand and pull the top of your ear to open the ear canal, then push the smallest flange in with a slight twist. Insert them as deeply as possible for the best noise reduction, and put them in before you enter the noisy area.
Taking them out. Leave the noisy area first, then twist each plug to break the seal and pull it out slowly. Pulling them out quickly may damage the ear drum. Keep the plugs away from small children, as they are a choking hazard.

One size. The plugs have a minimum diameter of 7 mm and a maximum of 11 mm. Hold the stem behind the largest flange, pull the top of your ear to open the canal and push the plug in with a slight twist, as deeply as possible.
Care
Care
Wash in warm water with mild soap, rubbing off dirt with your fingers or a soft cloth. Rinse under cold running water until all the soap is gone and let them air dry fully. Keep them in the storage container, out of direct sunlight. Shelf life is 3 years.
