The Portwest EV4 EV440 Stretch Detachable Holster Trousers give you 4-way stretch and serious tool storage in one pair. Titanmill Ultra Stretch fabric moves, bends and kneels with you, and the zip-off holster pockets come off when you don't need them. They suit carpenters, electricians, plumbers and other trades who carry tools all day.
Key features
- 4-way stretch: 92% polyamide and 8% elastane at 230g, with laser cut ventilation holes to let heat out.
- Zip-off holster pockets: CorePro reinforced, with webbing loops for tools. Keep them on or take them off.
- Knee pad pockets at two heights: pre-bent and side entry. With Portwest S156 knee pads fitted, the trousers meet EN 14404 Type 2 Level 0.
- 17 pockets, including a CorePro reinforced zipped thigh pocket, a concealed phone pocket and rule, spanner and pen pockets, plus two hammer loops, a D-ring and a glove holder on the waistband.
- An inner boot clip stops the legs riding up, and the FlexiHem ankle adjuster holds the hem in place to reduce entrapment.
Built for daily site work. CorePro Armour reinforcement and triple stitching throughout add durability where you need it. The holster and thigh pockets are CorePro reinforced too.
A fit that stays put. A high-rise back waistband with side elastication keeps you covered when you bend, and a gripper elasticated inner waistband helps keep shirts tucked in.

4-way stretch with a high-rise back and side elasticated waist, so the trousers stay in place as you bend and kneel. Short leg is 74 cm (29 in), Regular 79 cm (31 in) and Tall 84 cm (33 in) inside leg. Regular comes in waist 26 to 48, Short in 28 to 42 and Tall in 28 to 48 except 33 and 41. Check the size chart if you are between sizes.
