Portwest S156 Knee Pad Inserts for Work Trousers

The Portwest S156 Knee Pad is a pair of EVA foam inserts that slide into the knee pad pockets of your work trousers. Each pad is shaped to hug the knee and cushion it against hard surfaces and small stones when you kneel. They are made for anyone who spends part of the working day on their knees.

Inside the pocket, not strapped on. Type 2 knee protectors go into a pocket at knee level, so there is nothing to strap around your leg. Each pad should sit in the middle of the pocket, held in place by the pocket itself. Check the position before you start work.

What Level 0 means. Level 0 knee protectors are for flat or uneven floors and give no protection against sharp objects pushing through. Levels 1 and 2 add protection against penetration.

Look after them. Check the pads before each use and replace them if they are damaged or badly worn. Wipe them clean and keep them away from heat when drying. The pads are not water resistant. Their service life is at least 2 years, though this can vary.
