The Portwest FV03 Composite Leather High Boot is an insulated S7L safety boot for cold, wet and static-controlled workplaces. A faux-fur lining keeps feet warm in temperatures down to -30°C, and a waterproof, breathable membrane keeps them dry. With ESD protection and a metal-free build, Portwest designed it to suit ATEX-controlled workplaces where static control matters.

Key features

  • Warm in the cold: an insulated faux-fur lining keeps feet warm down to -30°C.
  • Static control: suitable for use in ESD environments and anti-static, with IEC 61340-5-1:2016 among its standards.
  • Grip on ice and rough ground: a deep-cleated nitrile rubber outsole grips on wet, icy and uneven terrain, with a ladder grip.
  • Metal free: a composite toecap and pierce resistant composite midsole, with a non-magnetic, nickel and ferrous free build that is metal detector friendly.
  • Support for long wear: extra padding at the Achilles, heel and leg, a TPU heel counter and a cushioned footbed.

Built for harsh conditions. The crazy horse leather upper has a bellows tongue to help keep water out and a reinforced scuff cap to protect the toe. The outsole is heat resistant to 300°C and resists fuel and oil. Reflective detailing helps you be seen in low light.

Comfortable in a high boot. A robust internal leg zip adds comfort, the padded collar cushions the top of the boot, and the angled top line gives a better fit and lets the leg flex. The energy absorbing seat region takes some of the impact off your heel.

What S7L covers. Under EN ISO 20345:2022, S7L footwear meets the S3 requirements plus water penetration and water absorption, and uses a non-metal perforation resistant insert (type PL).

Colours and sizes. FV03 comes in Black, in UK sizes 4 to 12 (EU 37 to 47), including UK 6.5 and 10.5.
