The Portwest PW77 Electronic Bluetooth Ear Defenders protect your hearing at SNR 29 dB and let you take calls and stream music from your phone without taking them off. A built-in microphone handles hands-free calls, and there is a USB charging interface and an AUX input. They suit anyone working in noise who still needs to stay in touch.

What the ratings mean. PW77 is tested to EN 352-1 for ear muffs and reaches SNR 29 dB. It is also tested to EN 352-6:2020 and EN 352-8:2020 and is CE certified as Category III PPE. Ear defenders should be worn at all times in noise above 80 dB and chosen by their attenuation against the noise you need to reduce.
Stay aware on site. Warning signals can be harder to hear while you are using the entertainment audio. Glasses frames and hair between the cushions and your head can also reduce protection, so keep the cushions clear and check the fit before you go into noise.
Easy to pair. Bluetooth range is 10 m or more and the device name is PORTWEST. Paired devices are saved, so the ear defenders reconnect to a known phone. Check they work properly before each use, and use them between 0°C and 40°C.

One size, worn over the head, covering the small, medium and large size ranges. Pull the cups out and place them over your ears so they fully enclose them and seal against your head, then adjust the headband. Remove hair from under the cushions and check the fit before entering noise.
